She developed a strong work ethic while growing up on her parents farm where she helped raise her five younger brothers. Her father preached the word of God.

With this experience, Tina raised her three daughters to be intelligent, honest, hardworking, and caring people.

Once her daughters were older, Tina went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree from Missouri Western State University. 

In all, Tina has lived in Buchanan and Andrew counties for 33 years.
